The Evergreen Holding Group gave a presentation on an EPC project in the Congo, at the China Bluestar Changsha Design and Research Institute, Dec 11-13, where Wei Yeqiu, president of the institute, gave a welcoming speech at the meeting. Participants included: the Evergreen Group’s chairman, Liang Xiaolei, and president, Jiang Qiang; MAG’s CEO, Chen Longbo, who hosted the meeting; leaders of the Changsha Institute; and representatives of construction giants such as China State Construction Engineering and the China Road & Bridge Corp, and engineering companies such as the Wuhuan Engineering Co, China Tianchen Engineering Corp, East China Engineering Science and Technology Co, and China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corp. Liang provided background information on the project and laid out the requirement for EPC bidders. A deputy chief engineer, Feng Yuehua, speaking on behalf of the institute, the project designer, gave a general picture of the project and its technical characteristics. Afterwards there was a discussion by the institute and potential contractors. Bidding on the EPC project is set to start at the end of this month.
