The Institute has made significant progress in its annual patent work plan. By the end of October, the Institute has applied for 14 national patents, including 12 National Patents of Innovation and 2 Patents of Utility Model, with the annual target set by the headquarter ChemChina accomplished ahead of schedule.
In addition to that, the Institute has made outstanding achievements in its patent licensing work, granted with 8 Patents of Innovation and 1 Patent of Utility Model. Up to now, the Institute has applied 90 patents in all, 58 of which has been granted with license. Among the 58 granted patents, 42 of them are innovation patents, accounting for 73% of the all.
Those significant achievements are mainly attributed to the high property of the Institute, increasing attention on intellectual property management, improved awareness of numerous cards and staffs on independent innovation and intellectual property protection.
